1. ABOUT COOKIES
1.1 A cookie is a file containing an identifier (a string of letters and numbers) that sends the web server to the web browser and is stored by the browser. The identifier is then sent back to the server every time the browser requests the page from the server.
1.2 Cookies can either be “persistent” files or “session” files: persistent cookies will be stored by the web browser until the end of their validity unless deleted by the user prior to its expiry; session cookies expire at the end of a user session when the web browser is closed.
